It is a grave mistake for the Government to be totally intransigent to amendments to this Bill, to refuse to accept any ideas just because they can, just because they want to show they’re running the show, they’re in control,

This is an example of why the current Australian government is a perversion of democracy.
If one party has a majority then no other parties count. This is a problem because democracy is based on the discussion of many points of view.
