09-03-27 01: 15 < david> lol
09-03-27 01: 15 < david> now hold on
09-03-27 01: 16 < david> this could all be solved by a much simpler solution
09-03-27 01: 16 < david> outlaw cameras!
09-03-27 01: 16 < david> although only outlaws will have cameras then... hmm
09-03-27 01: 18 jessta starts mixing up egg whites
09-03-27 01: 20 < jessta> probably better ban eggs and glass
09-03-27 01: 20 < david> aight, i've got it - all light waves of a visible wavelength are banned within australia
09-03-27 01: 20 < david> that covers the visible component of child porn
09-03-27 01: 20 < jessta> we could just cut everybody's eyes out at birth
09-03-27 01: 21 < jessta> ...or we could just ban children
09-03-27 01: 21 < david> lmao
09-03-27 01: 21 < david> that wold solve it
09-03-27 01: 21 < jessta> it's much easier

Unit Testing: first or last?
drealmer: Testing is good, and so is unit testing. But how beneficial is TDD? TDD implies that you write the tests first, then write the code that satisfies them. A study from 2005 compared the results from a small sample of two CS student teams, one doing TDD and the other one writing tests after the code. It showed interesting results, but it’s not easy to figure out a conclusion, and it seems...

(via sooshi) wait what? Who’s being exploited? You don’t know these women, you don’t know how they feel about their place of work. But obviously because they are women they must be being exploited, because everyone knows that women are completely powerless and unable to help themselves.

macuyiko: My main hard drive is failing… I’m losing faith in WD. You should probably have more than one ‘main hard drive’, hard drives fail no matter which brand you buy and they all have warranties that cover their expected life time(usually 3yrs).
