This is awesome, ken thompson, rob pike and russ cox are involved.
uses a lot of plan9 stuff.
A brief look at the mailing list does show that it will probably be an uphill battle getting people to understand where they are coming from. A lot of languages have done a lot of damage to programmers and it will take some work to undo it.
